Reading is the only UK university department to offer a full range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in meteorology. There is a strong practical element to all courses – you can expect to take part in field courses and team-based hands-on laboratory experiments, indoors and out. We have a well-equipped fluid dynamics laboratory and a world-class atmospheric observatory.
